All of us associated with Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, The Innovation Center, and the businesses and individuals that have collaborated to bring this program to you wish you a very warm South Texas welcome! We believe that you will enjoy a very full and informative program that will cover a broad range of topics related to doing business in the United States and simply good practices in business and especially in manufacturing. It is our expectation that you will take home a better understanding of how to do business in the United States and some ideas about how to make your business more successful at home.

There is so much activity going on in this region and in Texas, and opportunity is abundant for anyone that would consider doing business here. Some of our time will be spent acquainting you with the Coastal Bend Region which has long been known for cattle, oil, and cotton but which is now experiencing significant foreign investment from many areas of the globe. The entire State of Texas is seeing record amounts of foreign investment and much of it is along the Gulf Coast (known in the United States as the "Third Coast").

Your responsibility is to participate to the fullest in this program and related events and take away as much as you possibly can absorb from this experience. It is also important that you have some fun and enjoy your time with us. Your comments and suggestions at any time and on any topic are welcomed and your evaluation of the program will be of great interest and importance to us
